Recommended Character Stats For Euporia Twinblade
Top Off The Build With Great Rune
The Euporia twinblade is one of the four legendary armaments introduced in Elden Ring's DLC Shadow of the Erdtree. This twinblade can be found in a secret section of Enir-Ilim, the late game area of the expansion. The Euporia features a special charge up mechanic that activates upon landing a few hits on the enemy, causing its blades to glow. This charge-up increases the weapon's holy damage and adds a new ranged ability for the duration that the luster lasts.
The recent buff to the weapon has transformed the Euporia twinblade into a highly sought-after weapon, making it an excellent choice for players who desire a rewarding combat experience. Nevertheless, a weapon doesn't shine all on its own unless it's integrated into a complementing build. This Euporia build guide will help you get the most out of this legendary weapon and excel against challenging bosses in Elden Ring.

Euporia Twinblade Acquisition, Stats & Overview
The Twinblade Primarily Scales With Faith
The Euporia twinblade is located in a hidden chamber in the suspended tower of Enir-Ilim. Reaching this chamber requires crafty parkour across the tower's ledges, overcoming several enemies, and activating an elevator. The weapon can be upgraded using Somber Smithing Stones and a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone . The twinblade requires the following stats to wield effectively and scales accordingly:
Attribute | Level | Scaling |
---|---|---|
Strength | 16 | D |
Dexterity | 16 | D |
Faith | 24 | D |
The Euporia features a special charge-up mechanic that causes the weapon to glow upon landing a few hits on enemies. As long as the weapon glows, all attacks coming from the twinblade also deal additional holy damage. Moreover, executing the weapon's skill, Euporia's Vortex, while the blades are charged, releases the stored energy in the form of holy projectiles.
There are two levels to Euporia's charge-up mechanic, and each time the weapon's luster is restored, the game notifies you with a distinct chime. However, executing the weapon's skill when the twinblade is fully charged results in increased damage and longer skill animation.
Given how the weapon scales with strength, dexterity, and faith, even pure strength-based players can still incorporate the Euporia into their builds. However, this legendary weapon truly shines in the hands of a strength-mage. The ability to cast incantations and wield a powerful weapon grants you a diverse arsenal of attack options.

Recommended Talismans & Armor For Euporia Twinblade
Choose Talismans That Boost Your Holy Damage
In Elden Ring, a build isn't truly complete unless it's paired with complimentary talismans. Talismans allow you to further tailor a build for a specific purpose, such as maximizing its damage or improving your character's defenses. In the Euporia twinblade's case, you'll want to boost the weapon's holy and skill damage, both of which can be achieved by using two specific talismans. Since you can equip four talismans in Elden Ring, the following selection of talismans will allow you to deal incredible damage with the Euporia while also enhancing your defense:
- Shard of Alexander : The Shard of Alexander is obtained upon completing Iron Fist Alexander's questline, and this talisman boosts the damage of weapon skills by 20%.
- Sacred Scorpion Charm : The Sacred Scorpion Charm is obtained after defeating the invader Anastasia, Tarnished-Eater. This talisman boosts holy damage by 12% while also increasing the damage taken by 10%.
- Two-Handed Sword Talisman : The Two-Handed Sword Talisman can be found in a treasure chest in the Temple-Town Ruins in Shadow of the Erdtree. This talisman increases a weapon's physical damage by 15% when wielding it with both hands.
- Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman : Found in a treasure chest in Miquella's Haligtree, the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman reduces physical damage taken by 20%.
For the armor, you can go with any armor set that allows you to stay at medium equipment load while granting +51 poise. This build guide recommends Blaidd's Armor set along with the Black Wolf Mask , which offers 60 poise and allows you to remain at medium equipment load at 30 endurance. You can obtain Blaidd's armor by defeating Blaidd outside of Ranni's Rise. You should have progressed Ranni's quest and defeated the Baleful Shadow before confronting Blaidd.

Euporia Twinblade Complementary Spells & Consumables
Elden Ring includes a vast array of spells with some of them geared towards bestowing certain offensive and defensive buffs. With 80 faith, you can cast every faith-based incantation in the game, but to boost Euporia's damage, you should consider casting the following two spells before engaging any boss:
- Golden Vow : Found in the Corpse-Stench Shack on Mt. Gelmir. The Golden Vow incantation increases your physical damage dealt by 15% and negates damage taken by 10% for 80 seconds.
- Flame, Grant me Strength : Found behind Fort Gael in Caelid, the incantation is guarded by two flame chariots. Casting Flame, Grant Me Strength increases your physical and fire damage dealt by 20%, and the buff lasts for 30 seconds.
Wondrous Flask Of Physick Combination
Along with these two spells, you can also concoct the Wondrous Flask of Physick to further increase Euporia's physical damage. Wondrous Flask of Physick is a unique, reusable consumable that allows you to mix two tears to gain various buffs for a limited period of time. The following two tears boost the damage of your holy attacks and allow you to break the enemy's stance with fewer hits:
- Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear : Obtained when defeating Minor Erdtree in northeastern Liurnia. The Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear boosts your holy attacks by 20% for 3 minutes.
- Stonebarb Cracked Tear : Obtained upon defeating the Putrid Avatar found in western Caelid. The Stonebarb Cracked Tear increases stance damage by 30% for 30 seconds.
Buffing Routine
Since the Stonebarb Cracked Tear only offers 30 seconds of stance damage, you should prioritize your buffs in the following manner:
- Begin by casting the Golden Vow incantation.
- Follow it up with Flame, Grant Me Strength.
- Then, consume the Wondrous Flask of Physick to complete the buffing routine.

Euporia Twinblade Build Pros & Cons
With the recent buff, the Euporia twinblade stands out as the best holy weapon in the game. The twinblade's charge-up mechanic encourages players to play aggressively, seeking to restore the weapon's luster before unleashing a burst of holy projectiles. Players who prefer aesthetics and stylish weapon arts would undoubtedly gravitate towards the Euporia .
However, this legendary twinblade also has its flaws, with a major downside being the lack of hyper armor when using its skill. In Elden Ring, certain weapon skills grant hyper armor, a mechanic that prevents interruptions during the skill animation. Unfortunately, this isn't the case with Euporia's Vortex. Not only does the twinblade's skill have a lengthy animation where you're mostly stationary, but there's a high chance of being knocked out of the skill animation if your poise is low.
Therefore, you'll need to strategize when to execute the weapon skill, as being interrupted will force you to charge the blades again. This lack of hyper armor can be compensated by increasing your character's poise, either by wearing armor that grants high poise or equipping the Bull-Goat's Talisman .
Top Off The Build With Great Rune
While optional, you can further enhance this Euporia build by equipping and activating a Great Rune. There are a total of eight Great Runes in Elden Ring, each offering unique buffs and playstyle options. For the Euporia twinblade, however, the following three Great Runes are excellent choices:
Do keep in mind that activating Great Runes requires the consumption of Rune Arcs, and the effects of Great Runes are disabled upon death.
- Godrick's Great Rune : Adds five flat levels across all attributes, allowing you to further scale the weapon with strength, dexterity, and faith.
- Radahn's Great Rune : Boosts your maximum HP, FP, and Stamina, the effect is greater in comparison to Godrick's Great Rune.
- Malenia's Great Rune : Allows you to recover lost HP when attacking an enemy shortly after being hit. Works similar to Bloodborne's rally mechanic.
